Let's Flip is officially live — discover and book creative workshops in Amsterdam.

There's something deeply satisfying about wearing something you made yourself.
Screen printing is one of the oldest printing techniques in the world — bold, graphic, and surprisingly addictive once you try it. In this 3-hour beginner workshop at BusyBird Studio in Amsterdam-Oost, you'll go through the entire process from scratch — coating screens, exposing your design, mixing ink, and printing it onto t-shirts. No experience needed. Just bring a design and wear clothes you don't mind getting a bit dirty.
You'll leave with t-shirts printed by your own hands. Plural.
What You'll Do
🎨 Bring your design, make it real. You arrive with your artwork (up to A4 size, 1 colour) and BusyBird takes care of the rest. Together, you'll turn it into a print-ready screen.
🖼️ Coat and expose your screen. You'll apply light-sensitive emulsion to the screen and expose your design onto it using professional equipment. This is the part that feels like magic the first time.
🖨️ Set up your printing station. You'll mix your ink colour, prepare your station, and run some test prints on spare shirts before going for the real thing.
👕 Print your t-shirts. This is the moment. You pull the squeegee across the screen and your design appears on the fabric — clean, bold, exactly as you imagined it. You'll print multiple shirts and finish them off in the drying tunnel.
What's Included
One t-shirt is included in the workshop. You're welcome to bring up to 5 additional light-coloured shirts to print on — the more the better.
BusyBird provides all materials, inks, equipment and guidance throughout. The studio is in Amsterdam-Oost, easy to reach by public transport.
One practical note: wear old or dark clothes. Ink happens.
