Pet Bowl or Mug

Make two custom ceramic bowls for your pet, shaped around how they actually eat and drink. This beginner-friendly ceramics workshop walks you through handbuild techniques from the ground up, so no experience needed.

You'll shape each bowl by hand, building stable bases and functional rims suited to your pet's size and anatomy. Cats get shallow, curved bowls that protect whiskers. Dogs get wider, deeper bowls with optional feet for stability. Then you personalise each piece with stamped names, engobe decoration, paw prints, patterns, or textures that feel like your pet. Real design decisions, not just slapping paint on a pre-made piece.

Everything is included: up to 700g of clay, engobes for colour and detail, plus bisque firing, glaze firing, and a food-safe transparent glaze finish. You leave knowing your bowls are waterproof, functional, and built to last.

You pick up your finished set from the studio around four weeks after the workshop, once both firings are done.
