Workshop: Lamp making

Make your own little light at Buurman Amsterdam. Get to work on your very own lamp! What will your lamp look like? Sturdy, refined, eye-catching, or the opposite?

Our shelves are full of all kinds of reclaimed material from Amsterdam, so be sure to get inspired by what you find. The workshop instructor helps you get started with your design and explains which tools you'll be using. The mitre saw, drill, and possibly a plunge saw are used under guidance.

No experience? No worries, the workshop is suitable for all levels. The design and guidance are adapted to your level so you go home with a beautiful lamp at the end of the day!

Duration: 4 hours Level: beginners and intermediate Price: €95 (including materials, guidance, and coffee/tea — lunch not included)

• You're welcome to bring a design idea to the workshop, but we'll review it for a reasonable size and material use.
